dominicaAfter a 18 hour sail from South Caicos we arrive in Punta Rucia a little after 7am . We anchor in Ensanada bay, and its beautiful! Mountains and fresh air. We explore the terrain and hang out at the beach. Customs officials are sketchy so its pretty convenient I speak Spanish. We are the only sailboat in the bay. No other cruisers, just locals and we are ok with that! We make a good friend that is one of the local fisherman we hang out. Its heaven here. We get as much relaxation before we sail again. The place has no tourists and hanging out with the locals there was pretty awesome. Not very many people visit here and were glad to have the chance to experience it, life, simple.
