To the rescue! West Bay

Ryan to the rescue!Today family comes in! They should be here before sunset. I prep the boat to have three more aboard. They will be with us for a week, and we plan to take them on a sail to Nassau, then Allen’s Cay, then back to Nassau to dock in Atlantic and spend the last days there. SO excited to have them aboard our new home!

Around 3pm. We noticed a 2 guys in a boat in the distance and they look like they need help. Just floating around. Ryan hops in the Chico our dinghy and head towards them. I stay behind just in case they need to be towed. From the distance I look and they talk for a while and Ryan tows them out to sea! Im real confused. They are out there for a while I suspect fishing. But then Ryan comes back and leaves them there! They choose to stay out to fish, they have a spot they fish so Ryan took them there. We keep a close eye on them. Ryan goes back and hangs out with them a little more. Family due to come in at anytime now. He comes back with 2 lobsters and 2 conch! Wow, so generous! His reward for working and helping out today..and just being a good guy I think :) And to us, they were hard working generous fisherman making a living.  And they needed help. The guys get back to shore safely, they were very thankful to have been able to keep fishing. Everyone is happy, good vibes. Just as I am preparing a conch salad and making the butter for the lobster, we see our family at the beach! Ryan goes and gets them and we have a spectacular dinner fest! Family is here, feels really really nice :) Thrilled to tell them about the dinner they are feasting on….we enjoy the company
