Survey, Sea Trial, & Haul out

Wing keelThis is it. Its a go! Everything checked out great with the boat ~ Considering we have only seen the boat on a computer and did everything prior by email. The process was like butterflies in the tummy…all day. We woke up at the break of dawn. Not knowing what to expect. But the first step on that boat, it instantly felt like home. I envisioned creating the best memories of our lives on this boat. Surveyed, sailed, and the haul out was like a whirlwind of excitement. The boat was perfect. After the haul out, everything looked good. Our surveyor gave us the ok, and actually a big thumbs up for the price too! We looked at each other and smiled, no words needed. Then came the papers and money transfer. It was a done deal within minutes and we were STOKED! Our first house purchase! Tired from the days events, and all the excitement. We go back to the hotel and wait a couple of days for the boat to get a nice new bottom paint. Then its time to move into our new home. A 39ft Beneteau Oceanis. OMG!
